Warranty & Services

Terms and Conditions below are applicable for Filammon ONLY. T&C for other Filammon products & services will be supplied upon sales and delivery. 

Shipping 

• Filammon will distribute all accessories and spare parts via Australia Post to any location within the Commonwealth of Australia as specified in the order confirmation. A delivery charge may apply if the order value is below $500.


• A $100 ex GST delivery fee will apply to Metropolitan major domestic appliance order with less than 3 products on date specified on your order confirmation and these deliveries will be a door to door, street level service. Our installation and disposal services will be available, if ordered prior delivery. 

A variable cost will be applied to all non-metropolitan order and it will be specified on your order confirmation. With delivery to these areas, we are unable to deliver into your home or offer installation or removal services so please contact your local service provider if you require these additional services.


• Filammon will use reasonable commercial endeavours to distribute the product/s within specified time periods. If we are unable to deliver the products (by reason of inventory shortage, transportation difficulties or otherwise), it will use reasonable commercial endeavours to do so within a reasonable period after the specified time period.


• Filammon is not liable for failed deliveries as a result of the supply of incorrect or inaccurate address details. Should we be required for whatever reason to re-distribute a product, a re-redistribution fee will be payable to us prior to the re-distribution of the products.   


• Damaged stock must be reported within 48 hors of receipt. Any variation outside this timeframe will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Warranty

Filammon are designed and manufactured to give you many years of cooking pleasure. In the event that you have any questions or issues with your appliances please contact us and we will reply to your query as soon as possible. Some queries might take a little longer but we aim to get back to you before the end of the next business day.

Filammon products are covered by a Warranty in addition to all rights available to you by statute.


Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. 


You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


The Warranty is for a period of two years (24 months) from the date of purchase for Parts and Labour, however, some of other products have longer Parts and Labour Warranty on with special terms. 


The conditions mentioned above are;


  1. the purchaser carefully follows all instructions packed with the product;
  2.  the purchaser carefully follows the installation instructions provided and complies with the electrical wiring regulations, gas and/or plumbing codes;
  3. the purchaser carefully follows the instructions provided in the owner’s handbook relating to the proper use and care of the product and does not use the product for any purpose other than the Domestic, indoor use, for which it has been designed.
  4. the product was purchased and installed in Australia;
  5. this Warranty does not extend to;
  • Optional glass lids for hobs apart from claims which relate to mechanical or physical damage thereof at the date of purchase;
  • Light globes (with the exception of microwave oven globes);
  • Damage to ceramic glass caused by liquid or solid spillovers, lack of maintenance or impact. Please read the booklet explaining about liquids containing sugar;
  • Damage to the surface coatings caused by cleaning or maintenance using products not recommended by the owners handbook;
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear, accident, negligence, alteration or misuse.
  • A product dismantled, repaired or serviced by any serviceperson other than an authorised employee or agent of Filammon Australia;
  • The provision of service under this Warranty is limited by the boundary of the nearest agent’s area. Travelling cost incurred for service outside this area is not covered by this Warranty and will incur commercial cost to be paid by the customer regulated by the number of kilometres travelled beyond the service area.

For service, please contact your local Filammon office or dealer/retailer from whom you purchased the product. If you are unable to establish the date of purchase, or if the fault is not covered by this Warranty, or if the product is found to be in working order, you will be required to bear all service call charges. 

Return Policy 

Please review the enclosed policy carefully as it governs your purchase with Fulgor Milano Appliances trading as Filammon Australia Pty Ltd (“Filammon”). It sets out your rights and obligations with respect to your purchases, including important limitations and exclusions.


This Returns Policy is in addition to and is not intended to limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Trade Practices Act or equivalent State and/or Territory legislation.


If you wish to make a claim for a replacement product or refund because:


1. An item, which was ordered, has not been supplied -


You must call the National Customer Contact Centre on 1300 987 632 within 7 days from the end of the period during which the Goods were scheduled for delivery (please allow 5-7 working days for delivery, add 3 working days for delivery outside metropolitan areas).


2. You are not satisfied with the quality of the Product(s) supplied -


You must call the National Customer Contact Centre on 1300 987 632 within 7 days of the date of invoice.


In both cases a Customer Contact Centre Consultant will assess your claim for a replacement product or refund. Filammon reserves the right to inspect the goods before making the assessment.


Filammon will only exchange / refund a product within 7 days of the date of invoice.


All customers seeking a refund must provide satisfactory proof of purchase.


In situations where:

  • The product is damaged (excludes packaging) or defective through no fault of your own;
  • The product is incorrectly supplied; and/or
  • The product varies in its description from the Filammon website (or any sample provided).

Filammon in its discretion may elect to offer you a replacement or refund. Please choose carefully as we will not provide you with a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind.

Filammon uses Internet technologies (e.g. cookies, Java Script) for the sole purpose of making Internet applications easier to use. In order to improve the attractiveness of our websites, information is retrieved automatically in a limited number of cases (e.g. browser, operating system, click count, average time spent per page). This information is collected in such a manner as not to be personally identifiable.


3. Security 


Filammon guarantees to safeguard your personally identifiable information against loss, damage, corruption, manipulation, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure.  


4. Hyperlinks to other websites 


Cross-references (so called hyperlinks) on Filammon websites may connect to Internet sites run by other companies. Filammon does not accept any liability for the accuracy and legality of pages to which links are provided on this site. Miele also cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for the content of such sites or their data security policies.
